Switching to Acacia

I have been taking Equalactin (calcium polycarbophil) for the past 14 years, with great success. However, a few days ago, I learned that it contains hidden sucralose, which would explain my chronic severe headaches for the last 14 years! I am sensitive to it and had NO idea it was in the Equalactin!! So, on Monday, I switched to Fibercon (also calcium polycarbophil). My tummy wasn't real happy on Tuesday, but it's mostly fine now. The problem is that the Fibercon contains sodium lauryl sulfate. I won't even use shampoo with that ingredient, so it is fine for a short term things, but I do not want to take it long term.
I am wanting to switch to the Acacia fiber. My question is how well will my stomach tolerate the switch from the calcium polycarbophil I've been dependent on for the last 14 years. Is there enough of a difference that it will matter? Or are they similar enough that it won't? The main thing I want to stay away are the unbelievably severe stomach cramps that I used to get often, now only a couple of times a year.
Thanks!
