Hi all,
I'm new to the forums and just read Heather's book, IBS The First Year and man it has made a difference! I am much happier and a month in, I'm starting to get to work on time! Now I really want to start working out again but do any of you know if it's safe me to take creatine and whey protein (or if there a safe kind) before, during or after a workout?
Thanks! - Bobby

Welcome to the board,
Pure creatine shouldn't be a problem but make sure you check the ingredients for other trigger ingredients.
Many people with IBS have difficulties with diary products so whey protien may be a problem.
Have you tried rice or soy protein supplements? Caution about the rice powder - frequently it is made with from sprout whole grain rice. It can be high in insoluble fiber. Again check the ingredients list to make sure there are no additional triggers foods.

Thanks I didn't know about soy protein, just saw it on GNC. I'm going to check out the ingredients along with the creatine.
