We are going out to an Italian restaurant tomorrow. Any ideas what would be safe?

There are usually crusty white breads served prior to the meal, as long as you stay away from the butter you should be good with those. Any pasta with a marinara sauce as opposed to a cream or oil based sauce would be good (as long as you can tolerate tomatoes). Opt for fish, seafood or chicken instead of beef. Eat your salad with or after your meal instead of before hand, and get the dressing on the side. These are the things I generally do in an Italian restaurant to stay safe.
