Probiotics after antibiotics. HELP! new

i have horrible diarrhea today and cramps...i haven't felt this bad in a longtime!
i was finished with the antib's a week ago and started the probotics then..i had perfect BM's then today i have watery diarrhea and cramps is it the probotic? should i stop?

During diarrhea it is important to drink enough water. You can also eat what you usually feel comfortable with.

Hard to say what caused diarrhea, but antibiotics may cause diarrhea days or even weeks after stopping taking them. Probiotics, especially Saccharomices boulardii and Lactobacillus rhamnosus (LGG) are two of recommended probiotics, but they are meant more as a prevention than treatment. You were tolerating probiotics for a week, so it sounds less likely to me they would be the cause.

If you do not get better in a day or two, or if diarrhea becomes worse, go to the doctor immediately, since one dangerous complication of antibiotic treatment is an overgrowth of Clostridium difficile bacteria, which needs another antibiotic treatment as prescribed.
