Hello all! I have so thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this community from afar, and now I've decided to post as well and answer others. Obviously, it really helps to have somewhere to go.

I'm having trouble dissolving Heather's tummy fiber in anything except oatmeal. I'm up to 5 tsp twice a day (IBS-chronic C, so I think i'll have to go wayyy up there) and every night I struggle to take it all. I really want to stick with it and give it a chance to work, as I have run out of ideas and am feeling sicker and sicker each day with constipation, horrific (i mean HORRIFIC) gas, etc. Can y'all help?

Thanks so much! Here's to taking it one day at a time!

I've had trouble dissolving the acacia fiber. What I do is I mix how ever much acacia fiber you're using in one glass of water and I stir it with a fork but then I let it sit for 10-15 minutes or even longer and by the time I come back it's usually completely dissolved. The other thing too is if it isn't completely dissolved you can still drink it and it won't diminish the effects of the fiber. I hope this helps and good luck to you!
