C'mon Bev, don't give up!! It's rough and I still get mad that I have this stupid IBS, but when it comes down to it it's just how you look at things. Have you done the IBS Audio Program? That's helped me a lot. Supposedly things happen for a reason, right? Well I figure my reason is I'd weigh 500 lbs if I could eat all the fried food and chocolate I'd want!

My prescription for you is to make some peppermint tea and read a good book!

Gerry, your doctor told you to try a little bite of RED MEAT?!? WHY?!? And you had KFC? And ate the SKIN? EW. Well, Girlfriend, thanks for telling me -- it DOES help actually -- I see I'm not alone here. Thank you.

BUT -- you still crave the rotting carcass of a dead cow? YUK! Even the thought of a steak grosses me out now. Do you feel the same way about hamburgers? If so, have you tried Boca burgers? They're surprisingly VERY good.

Okay, now I'm getting a little hungry. Normally I'd say that's a good thing -- but I'm off food FOR GOOD!

Yes, but I prefer SALMON burgers! When we used to live in Northern California, we were close to Bodega Bay (where Hitchcock filmed "The Birds"), where we used to like to kayak. After our paddle, we'd stop in at Lucas Wharf and indulge in a Jack (of course) and THE BEST salmon burgers I've ever had in my life!

I'm trying to figure out what is in Salmon that doesn't agree with me. I know it is a great source for calcium, but it makes me really sick. I had grilled Salmon on New Years Eve and it was yummy, but I spent the rest of the night feeling like I was going to throw up.

I've love to eat more fish, but I found any that doesn't make me sick.
