After trying the fodmap diet I discovered that I have a wheat intolerance. I'm MUCH BETTER. (Hell, I'm an ibs forum success story!)

However, I don't have everything figured out yet. It seems that much of the time my stool is rather soft. Its not a problem, but it could be better. Its possible that my body has simply always been this way and my dietary issues have inspired some over analysis.

I was curious if there were any foods or natural remedies that might slow my gut motility. advice?

i would like to know this too. the only thing that seems to slow mine down is the medicine lomotil..it really has helped me tremendously. i'd love to find something natural instead of a medicine for this problem...

Shouldn't any soluble fiber help to slow down the gut? Do you take the acacia? What about chamomile tea? That may help too.
