has anyone had any problems with unpasterized apple cider? Shouldn't this be pretty safe SF to have by itself?

I use it in cooking from time to time. There isn't any SF or other fiber in cider vinegar. Like all vinegars it is acidic so you may want to take on a full stomach particularly if you have GERD.

I think the poster was referring to apple cider as a drink. It is very high in fructose and has no SF. Try it with a meal and it should be ok.

Ooops -- I just assumed vinegar because apple cider (the alcohol) is not allowed on the EFI. Gotta put my reading glasses on If the cider is fermented the fructose will have been converted to alcohol so that isn't a problem. If is apple cider as in apple juice then fructose could be a problem.

Wow, you would of thought that since the apple was broken down and not raw it would been more SF (kind of like when you peel or cook them).

Thanks for your help

If the apple juice is filtered to remove the pulp there is no SF. The SF is contained in the apple pulp.
