Any dietary modifications for someone with ibs and no gall bladder? I have what is called "bile dumping" where I have excess bile produced when eating, and nasty side effects. I am looking for dietary modification ideas to help control this.

thanks

I have IBS and no gallbladder either. I'm pretty sure it's taken me from IBS-D to IBS-C or IBS-A. The surgery itself has really thrown my body for a loop.

If you have TOO much bile, you need to eat more often so the bile has something to absorb into. If you don't have it already, get the acacia fiber. That will help for sure. Just make sure to add healthy, SF snacks, and that will most likely help.

Me? It seems like sometimes I have too much bile, and other times not enough. What are your symptoms? I'm having an endoscopy/colonoscopy this Friday to see what's going on in there.
