Has anyone had any luck with probiotics like pearls etc.

Very few probiotics have been tested for their efficacy in managing IBS. Three of the most commonly recommended probiotics that have been clinically tested on IBS patients and shown to have moderate effect are Align , VSL#3 and Digestive Advantage. Lactobacillus acidophilus has not been shown to be effective.

I take probiotics and find they help me. I had to try a few different brands before I settled on one that I feel helps me. I can't "prove" it helps, but I do notice a difference if I stop taking them, even for a few days. It is not "Pearls" or the other 3 Syl mentions.
