I've been doing pretty great with all the adjustments I've made but Im having a bit of a flare up that started 5 days ago and actually had gotten better 3 days ago after being very careful of what i ate, however, today i feel awful (lots of cramping, gas). Whenever I have a reaction to a food I experience it within 30 min. I had a peeled peach an hour after lunch and it tasted fairly tart but was ripe. 10 min later my stomach started to cramp and then I had a sense of urgency, however, no D, just really gassy.
Are peaches even citrus/acidic? I just googled it and found out it could be the sorbitol in peaches? Anybody know about sorbitol malabsorption?
Other fruits i think i may have a problem with:
oranges, grapes, watermelon, pears
