Heather says, in the Newsletter issued about 8/24/2010, that there is no Meal Replacement Shake that's good for IBS. Heather has provided so much help to people with IBS that I hate to offer a contradiction.
Still, I want to say that I did find one meal replacement shake, Soy Amazing, that has no forbidden ingredients, that uses natural sweeteners, that contains soluble fibers, and that is really gentle on a problem stomach. It comes in vanilla and chocolate flavors. I tolerate chocolate, most of the time, though vanilla is gentler and safer. I have used it for five years as a linchpin of dietary control for IBS.

This replacement appears to contain 13 grams of fiber per cup much of which comes from things such as ground flax seed, oat bran, brown rice solids which are IF. Also it contains soluble chicory fiber (inulin) which can be problematic for many with IBS (see this newsletter).
Individuals with IBS should exercise caution when consuming this soy meal replacement.
