Hi Ericasmom. I totally understand where your coming from! I have had IBS-C for almost 10yrs and it is VERY hard to commit 100% to the "IBS Diet." Plus, it seems that what works for one person, is a trigger for the next. For me, it seems that all my trigger foods are the ones that I crave the most! What a curse

Well what I find myself doing alot of the times is sneaking little teeny pieces of things. I definetely would be extremely sick if I ate a whole slice of cake or something, i never do that. But what I will do alot is have one crumb here and one crumb later..thats what i need to stop doing but its so hard!

We recently found a fabulous cake: Whole Foods Angel Food, made fresh in the store. Same ingredients you would use at home and it comes in an outrageous chocolate made w/pure cocoa powder! If my daughter (who has just barely moved past the "crisis mode" foods) can eat this, I bet it would work for lots of folks. She is happy to have something that feels like a regular dessert and I am happy to get a break from cooking/baking. kem (daughter w/ibs-d)
