UNC Chat with the experts-free online July 6 on biofeedback for functional disorders
presenter Steve Heymen PHD This topic will be on biofeedback for functional disorders. Constipation and analrectal disorders, pain in the rectum, fecal incontinence, ect.. There are doing something new this time, it will be a live presentation and the doctor will answer questions live. This is the first time for them to try this method. Hopefully it will save time answering questions. I highly recommend these free chats from one of the top centers in the US and world regonized.

Biofeedback for Gastrointestinal Disorders
The July session of "Evening with the Experts" is LESS THAN ONE WEEK AWAY! On July 6, 2010, Steve Heymen, PhD and Mary Scholz, RN, PhD from the UNC Center for Functional GI and Motility Disorders in Chapel Hill will speak on Biofeedback for Gastrointestinal Disorders and will answer questions in an interactive chat room.
***NOTE: This chat will use new and upgrated technology for the first time, providing streaming video of the presenter so that you will be able to watch and hear the topic expert respond to your questions and comments verbally in real time! Click on the link right there on the front page and it will take you to the chat page. Drs Heymen and Scholz will describe how the Biofeedback is done, briefly describe the research literature, and give a more detailed description of the Center's two large randomized controlled trials for treating constipation and fecal incontinence.
