Essentially they are ginger tablets for nausea. Regular Gravol causes drowsiness.
Does anyone take ginger talets on a daily basis for nausea conected with IBS either D or C?

I haven't taken them but I would be interested to know if anyone else has taken too. My worry is that each capsule contains 500 mg of ground ginger which is essentially all insoluble fiber and they recommend you take 2 tablets at a time. One gram of insoluble fiber could be a problem especially on an empty stomach. The chewables contain aspartame - an artifical sweetener - so use with caution.

Well I am trying them at a low dosage, mainly to see how they are with nausea which I sometimes have with IBS. I have both IBS as well as diverticulosis and although symptoms are similar food tolerance is not.

No, but I do eat gin-gins very often (help breath too) and when I am more nauseated I make fresh ginger tea. thegingerpeople.com

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Thanks, I have ginger tea as well but tablets seem to work for me but if taking reommended dosage can easily get heartburn from ginger. I take only as I feel I need them

Basically I would say they worked. One surprise to me is when I told doctor and his nurse he was not aware that Gravol made a gingerroot product. Gravol is a well known brand in Canada.

Thanks for the insights. I wasn't aware of a Gravol gingerroot product until you made your post. It was a surprise
