Yes, if you have no fructose sensitivity and you eat it with food not by the spoonful. Same with agave which I actually prefer to honey.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

I eat honey a lot! But I buy local, pure honey that has nothing added. I never have any problems with it, I use it on toast and sandwiches and even dipping.

the honey is pure with nothing added but i think i have fructose issues....i can't eat a peeled apple without pain and gas, etc...i am assuming that means it's the fructose?..figures..i was hoping since it was all natural it wouldn't have fructose..i guess it just doesn't have hfcs and other things...thanks...

Honey has about 34 grams of glucose and 42 grams of fructose per 100 grams and therefore it contains about 8 grams of excess fructose per 100 grams. I know I cannot eat it without experiencing symptoms.
