first of all congratulations,I've been on the diet for a long time time and you have bravely added more insoluble fiber then I have, however I do eat almond butter, every morning on my bagel and drink a peppermint tea, I had a lot of gas and bloating with the almond butter for the first two weeks, but my body got used to it, the key for me was a small amount, like how much you would use to butter a bagel, not make a peanut butter sandwich, twice a month i get stirfry and have snow peas, and once a month or so I force myself to try very throuroughly steamed broccoli. I understand and sympathize with the food rut and the aprehension towards trying new things. I've added luna bars and almond butter to my routine in the last few months, and while at first it was a little rough from not giving up and persistance I tolerate them now, maybe the same thing could work for you?

Sheila -

It's been a while, so "Hello"!

I wish I, too, had a magic answer for you. You have been so faithful over the years to help everyone, wish I had one for you. Unfortunately, I'm not even stable myself right now - lots of food allergies/intollerances - who knows? I have become terrified to eat anything from any restaurant - and have even had horrible 3-days - to a week long reaction to Baked BBQ chips... So, like you, I try to stick to safe stuff.

List some of the things you would like to eat and let's see if we can find some substitutes - OK????
