I just need to vent. I am so tired of being constipated. I can't take it anymore. Nothing helps. I hate living like this. I just wish someone could help me.

Thanks for listening. I just needed to voice that feeling. The only other thing I can do is cry.

Have you tried Natural Calm? That has always been a lifesaver for me. Trust me, I understand your frustration!!

Natural Calm? What's that?
I suffer from constipation/bloating/distension and would REALLY like some relief.

I have tried Benefiber/Acadia/Acidophillus/Miralax/Lactulose..why would Natural Calm be the trick?

Yes, I actually do already take Natural Calm. 3 tsp a night. How much do you take? I haven't "gone" for a few days now.

Never tried...considering it...would like to hear if it works better than Miralax (which doesn't).

I agree! I HATE constipation too.
It is the absolute worst and you feel so helpless at times. I am sure you have heard everything but I really find that exercise helps me. "you gotta get movin' to get things movin" is what I always say
I write about my daily diet and experience with IBS-C (and a side of bloating) at www.eatandbe.com. You might find some useful, practical tips!? Hope you find relief.

Natural Calm rocks. I take a heaping tablespoon every night, but man, when I was pregnant, I sometimes took twice that! So definitely don't be afraid to take more if the dose you're taking isn't working. You can increase it pretty quickly, not like increasing an SFS.

This has definitely been as close to a "cure" as I've come with my C. Most of the time, I have to run to the bathroom in the morning, which isn't typical for C-ers.

If Natural Calm helps you "go", what does the Acacia do for you?

Reduces bloating! It also allows me to eat more IF safely, which also helps you "go". As you increase the amount of acacia you take with each meal, you can slowly decrease the amount of SF you need to get from food.

I hope you are feeling better soon. I'm personally just coming off a really bad week myself, bad enough for an ER visit. I couldn't help but notice how even with IBS the grass is always greener on the other side. The D's would rather be C's and the C's would rather be D's.....and everybody just wants to be normal..... I don't think I've ever been C in my 25 years of life......but I'm sure I've broken land speed records trying to find a bathroom during a bad D attack! Since this is your rant thread though I HATE CONSTIPATION TOO!!!
