Every time I have an "attack" I end up freezing cold and completely exhausted. Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes. There are various side effect body symptoms like back pain, sweats and chills and utter exhaustion. I'm sure there is a medical reason. Try a heating pad!

If I get bad D I sometimes get quite exhausted for like 24 hours. I got it on a hiking trip once at a greasy Asian restaurant in Banff and had to hike up Lake Louise trail the next morning. I definitely struggled with that and I had done it before just fine!

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
