you know I already know ibs ppl who aren't pregnant don't need to call their doctor every time they have that. I certainly don't and never have.

BUT, definitely avoid all peppermint towards the end of your pregnancy and also while you're breastfeeding; it causes a decrease in milk supply!!

You're welcome. and actually, you might do some research. I thought about it more after I posted last, and I swear I was told to avoid peppermint entirely because it's a smooth muscle relaxer, and can inadvertently relax the muscles of the uterus. This is obviously bad when you're pregnant. In addition, pregnant women are MUCH more susceptible to heartburn because hormones relax the muscles of the esophagus. As you know, peppermint exascerbates heartburn. So I'd avoid it if possible, just to be safe!
