When do you (you in specific - I realize there probably isn't a standard answer to this) consider yourself "stable"? No attacks? Only a few attacks a month? Once in a blue moon? Once a week?

I consider myself stable when it's not on my mind so often. When I can make plans and go out and enjoy life without the initial thought of "what if I get sick"... That usually happens to me when my attacks are about 3-4 months apart. Only a few attacks a year isn't bad at all, so I can handle that and feel stable. I also notice when they are so spread out, I can recover much faster. Hope that helps! I know it's different for all of us, but I believe it's really when the emotional side settles down for me and I don't worry as much that I feel the most stable.

stable for me is also when I don't have to worry and wonder where the nearest bathroom is located, or if I have some toilet paper, sanitizer, & a shovel in the pick up. Lots of places out here to hide behind. (That's terrible, isn't it?)

Wow, I had no idea it would be possible to go that long in between attacks. I will say that in the last week since following Heather's diet closely, I have seen MUCH improvement. It boggles my mind how eating all the "white" foods I've been avoiding for years and replacing with whole wheat are actually helping me have normal-ish BMs when I had thought all along that they would make me constipated. It's truly incredible. For the first time in a long time I feel hopeful about feeling better.
