If you have IBS and can't have dairy/red meat...and protein pwoders you can only have once a day or a few times a week (they do cause constipation).....then how can I get 1 gram of protein per pound?

What products are there to help supplement my diet...because whole foods alone leaves me 40-60 grams short.
Any special health food stores with a good product?

What about proteinex or this http://www.luckyvitamin.com/p-3413-proper-nutrition-seacure-hydrolyzed-white-fish-500-mg-180-capsules?utm_source=become&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=ProperNutritionSeacureHydrolyzedWhiteFish500mg180Capsules&utm_content=ProperNutritionSeacureHydrolyzedWhiteFish500mg180Capsules&utm_campaign=become&site=www.become.com&?

If you have this problem, please share your tips.
Thanks!

It doesn't really give the actual ingredients and nutrition facts.
I have been doing one serving of protein powder per day and remember what it does to me- almost D, really soft and a lot.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
