All I can say is you're not alone.

Julie, I have watched you go back and forth in your posts repeatedly, about soya vs. goats milk. Maybe try NO milk of any kind for awhile and see how it goes. It's not all about diet.

If you find that sometimes either milk is fine, and sometimes you feel bloated when you eat them, what does that tell you?

Julie, you misunderstand. I am not saying don't ask the questions - I am trying to help you think about your question logically. It's a technique my therapist uses with me.

Logic says that if you eat a certain food and sometimes you feel okay and sometimes you don't, then the food is not the cause of you feeling bad. That's what I am getting at.

You are clearly dealing with hard things in your life with IBS, anorexia, and it sounds like you lack a good support system. Therapy is what you need. I know it doesn't seem to correlate - your tummy troubles and the emotional pain you are in - it's easier to blame food for your physical discomfort. I did that for most of my life too, and have recently realized that's not the answer.

The answer is dealing with the emotional pain through therapy. You are not alone. I've got a lot of baggage to deal with as well, and most days my IBS symptoms are pretty bothersome. I get down a lot because it seems like nothing I do helps. But I do believe I am on the right path by addressing the pain in my mind.

You will find a way to feel better, just as I will. Keep believing that. It truly is a journey to healing.

I don't know how far "out there" you are willing to go, but I have a website for you. I have read all of the books and really believe in what is said. It is NOT the same old treatment...FOOD! Go to the NING site and I will go into detail.

Ok, I will. It's not your standard treatment. It is more based on "you create your own reality". I will post there sometime this week. -K-
