I had been taking multivitamins to make up for what I wasn't getting from my limited diet but have stopped for fear of the triggers like magnesium and vitamin C. Now I take what are thought of and said to be the better ones (for IBS-D) such as calcium carbonate and vitamin D independently. Are there any others that anyone would recommend - especially that could help with energy levels?

I have found that taking sublinqual B-12 helps boost energy. This is absorbed under the tonue and goes directly to the blood stream. You can get this in liquid or flavored tablets.

The vitamin D you are taking is very good given as we get vitamin D from sunshine through our skin, and there is little sun (and our skin is covered) during this time of the year.

I have found that a good quality B-Complex that is easily absorbed increases energy. I have had most success with B-Complex made by Shaklee Corp. (www.adamson.myshaklee.com)
