There is a drug free nose spray called Xlear that contains Xylitool. Anyone use it? Any thoughts how spraying something up your nice may impact your digestive system? Aside from the obvious that it is all connected!

Thanks,
Wayne

Xylitol is a naturally occurring sugar alcohol. Sugar alcohols like xylitol and sorbitol are used as sweetners. They are known to cause bloating, diarrhea, and flatulence even in normal individuals when ingested.

As long as the spray does not drain down the nasal passages into the throat and stomach it might be okay.

If you try it please tell us how it goes.

Good luck
