The Benefits of Persimmon tea

-Drinking Persimmon tea has a soothing effect on the body. What better way to unwind after a long day at work than to have a cup of tea while reading a good book?

-Another health benefit of drinking tea is that it is good for digestion. Since the early times, after a heavy meal people have been known to drink tea to help aid the process of digestion. It has been said that drinking tea helps digest greasy food!

- Persimmon tea contains antioxidants that help combat cancer. Plus, it is a great source of vitamin C. Some even claim, that this is good for those who are experiencing a hangover. Tea has a calming effect on one's system. Plus, the vitamin C contained in persimmon tea helps the liver to dispel the alcohol.

-Homemade persimmon tea is good for treating diarrhea. Just cut up about 5 whole persimmons into wedges and boil them in 3 cups of water. Let it boil for about 25 minutes. Let it cool, then strain. Drink about a couple of cups, every four hours.

- Tea contains less caffeine that coffee or soda. For those who are trying to stay away from caffeine, they might want to give persimmon tea a try!

For those who have never taken the time to discover this wonderful beverage called tea. Now is a good time to start. There have been numerous medical findings that claim drinking a few cups of tea can go a long way in keeping many illnesses at bay. This includes lowering the risk of developing some serious health problems such as heart disease, cancer, and stroke.

Hmm...I have acid reflux and IBS-C. If it's good for diarrhea does that mean it's bad for constipation?
