marinated artichoke hearts?

I couldn't find them in this town..so I bought a can of regular..I've never cooked with artichoke..so Is regular ok for a recipe? or can I do something to them to make them work..here's the recipe I want to make- http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Greek-Chicken-Pasta/Detail.aspx?strb=4 I'm leaving out cheese.

Marinated artichoke hearts have a lot of fat- yet in a low fat recipe I think that would be ok- especially drained.
