I'm reading a book called "The Wisdom of Menopause" written by a doctor. In one section, she mentions "seacure" which is a dietary supplement of pre-digested white fish. I know it sounds gross, but she says that her patients with IBS saw an alleviation in symptions when they started taking it. It is supposed to work in the large bowel (I think) to aid in absorption. Does anyone know anything about this?
Thanks.

Paula

That book is by Christiane Northrup. I have read many of her books, but not that one. She is a very knowledgeable gyn. I happen to love her and her advice. I am not to the age of menopause, but when I get there, I will be reading her book. I don't know about the "seacure", but I do know she gives very good advice. I may try that myself. It's worth the experiment to me. Thanks for sharing that.
