I usually get sluggish for a while after eating. It's like I don't want to do anything, ya know? I don't know if it has to do with the acid reflux, though; just be careful of the acidic foods you eat. They can cause a flare of reflux.

I'm lazy and tired today. When I am bloated and don't feel well and eat something, I get real tired and lazy.

Try taking a Vitamin-B complex with high potency, it helps me to stay awake and alert. I take one a day along with my beachbody activit vitamins!

Hope that helps!

Hugs!

Feeling tired after you eat indicates some sort of digestive problem. Leaky gut syndrome which results in malabsorption and nutrient deficiences is very common. However, you may have food sensitivities or allergies. I would also see your physician to check your thyroid function. If you have been under high amounts of stress or are not getting enough sleep your adrenals may be fatigued. I would suggest seeing a naturopatic physician or nutritionist about this. A guessing game could end up being longer than you might expect. Go here to find a reputable ND www.naturopathic.org.

I hope this helps!

I "poop a lot and then I get tired". Not so much after I eat but after a meal if I go I get tired. I eat breakfast, poop, then try to workout but sometimes am too tired/poopy.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
