I make my own almond milk. I would like to change it up. Has anyone tried rice milk?

I LOVE Rice milk! It is about the only thing I can tolerate (milk sub wise) I can't do soy milk!

I like almond milk, but I can't find it here. I have made my own, but I just don't have the time!

Try the rice milk! It's great for drinking and it's kinda sweet. Not as thick as soy either. I only use soy for cooking!

HTH!

Think white sugar water. It is really watery and sweet. I use both soy and rice- rice milk as a drink and in cereal and soy milk in cooking and smoothies.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

If you can find it the chocolate rice milk is good too. I drink the vanilla flavored and the plain rice milk. I also drink the almond milk. As they said in the other posts the rice milk is thin more like FF milk. I can tell that in some brands of puddings the rice milk will not let it set up right so you have to use about 4 tbls less of milk than normal. I have Royal brand pudding and that is the one that I have the trouble with not setting up if I use what it calls for.
