I like to drink a protein shake with bananas and peanut butter or almond butter and I use to use soy but it set to heavy on my stomach. So what else can I use beside milk or soy?

Have you tried rice milk? It has a thinner consistancy, more like skim milk.

There is also almond milk as well. Rice milk comes in original, vanilla, and if your lucky you can find the chocolate as well.

Rice milk is the only 'milk' I can tolerate and it is very soothing. It is a little watery but you get used to it! You can get flavoured stuff which is yummy heated for a warm drink.
