I bought nsi bifidobacterium online last month but cannot find it online anymore. One website says it has been discontinued. Does anyone know more about this?

Strange - you posted this question yesterday and I answered it but your posting and my response has been deleted!!!!! Here is my response again.

I called NSI. They told me they discontinued Bifidobacterium infantis 2 months ago. You might try Natren Life Start or Life Start 2.

Did they say why? I still have some left. I hope they are ok to take.

I didn't ask but I suspect that it has to do with low volume of sales.

What i found was some sites have replaced it with complete balance. I found the complete balance info at http://www.fun-lifestyle.com/theproducts.cfm?master=9607&owner=1

Complete balance is a multi-vitamin that does not contain any probiotic. NSI Bifidobacterium is not a multi-vitamin and it only contains the probioitic Bifidobacterium infantis.

Unfortunately it looks like the company that sells complete balance does know what they are talking about

I had no idea what was in the other because I couldn't find the information on it to compare it. So figured I would give the link and then others would know if it is comparable or NOT lol

Not sure if this helps, I take bifidobacterium infantis 35624 which is a product called Align. My GI doc gave me a month of samples and along with following Heather's diet suggestions, I finally feel normal.
