Ok I'll try not be gross here, but for the past few weeks I've noticed that Im passing wind a lot more than I ever have. And its foul smelling aswell. Im also suffering stomach cramps. Id experience cramps, then pass wind, the cramps would ease a little then start to get stronger and then I'd pass wind again. The cycle will continue then. Also when I have a bowel movement the stench is pretty bad. I have no idea whats going on here and its seriously distressing. Everyday I get up and wish that today will be the day I feel better. But its not happening. I've made no major changes to my diet except for giving up eating bread which I did back in febuary. Other than that, nothing really. If anything my diet is way better than it was before I experienced these problems. Ive been training for a tri-athlon so I dont eat junk food at all, no alcohol, no fried food, no stimulants, nothing. The only change in my lifestyle would be the increase in training but Ive always trained and been invloved with sport just not at the intensity ive been participating in of late. Im swimming a lot aswell and so maybe I picked up some sort of infection at poolside??? I dunno. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Maybe you need some probiotics. You could try taking some acidophilous or eating Activia.
My friend has the same problem and Activia helped fix it.

You might check with you doctor. Foul smelling stools or flatulence can caused not only by the foods you eat but also by other things such as an intestinal infection, celiac disease and other malabsorption problems.

Thanks, I've been doing a bit of research all day and I reckon Ive picked up some kind of infection. Probably from around the swimming pool area. I'll go to the Doc and get myself checked out. Thanks again
