Ok do any of u go to any good hfs's and they have a number u can call to have items shipped to your house? One that also mails a catalog would be great!

ALso one that ships almond milk or has any really good jellies with no HFCS..ibs safe food items, ect. I live in ND if that makes any diffrence.

Is there anything you really like that u get from HFS's that u would like to tell me about?

I don't know any mail order catalogs which offer that, but if you really are having that tough of a time finding the stuff I will purchase it from our grocery store and mail it to you... I get almond breeze unsweetened vanilla and GIANT groceries stores has a lovely organic jelly made from bluberries.

this town is small and very limited. For example I used to be able to find soy ice cream at wal mart, but they don't even sell it anymore and there was no other place in town to find it.Also Only 1 out of the 3 places to go shopping, 1 has frozen mangos. Is there a good selection of any soy cream cheeses or some other really good ibs stuff up there?

what is almond breeze unsweetened vanilla? almond milk? ALso are there any other flavors of jelly besides blueberry? Oh I noticed the origional flavor 87th continent soy milk has artificial flavor..I am trying to eliminate artificial flavors, sweetners, ect. I looked at marshmellows, even those have it! As for HF's it doesn't have to have a catalog..just a really good one with a number to call so u can order by phone and they ship to you..I was asking what Ibs safe things people order from hf's that they really like. Also there is a question I want to ask,but not on the message board..my email is m_nice16@hotmail.com if u want to send me your email adress. also on my myspace I started an album of recipes I made and took pictures if u are interested,or anyone else on here.

You know how I was making a ibs binder thing? Is this statement right or does it sound confusing at all? is there a better way to say it? I don't know how well you are with writing and proper english and punctuation..I'm just saying this as I don't pay alot of attention to correcting or making sure everything's right..

"There are 2 types types of Fibers: One Is preventative and relieving of symptoms and One Can both help and Hurt:It's a balance between them."

Once I am done with my project, would you like me to send a copy? through the mail or email?

Fiber is seperated into two categories. Soluble fiber being one which is extremly helpful in both preventing and relieving symptoms. Insoluble fiber would be the second, which should also be utilized, although you must be careful because too much consumption may bring about symptoms if not properly combined with soluble fiber or too large of an amount is ingested. The trick is to find the proper balance between them.

What you had wrote sounds nice as well, but if you wanted to clarify a little more....this may work.

And absolutely I would love a copy when you are finished....I am going to go answer your other post now

I'm not sure where you live, but I am on the east coast about 35 min from Philly so we have a pretty high organic and health food following around here. Truth be told I don't eat soy, for one reason I don't tolerate it well, and the second being that soy (although it may be beneficial for ibs) is not entirely that great for you. The secret is how much is consumed and what kind. Tempeh is good....tofu is good (try and make sure it's not gmo (genetically modified organisms) ) and soy milk can be beneficial...but in reasonable amounts. If too much soy is consumed it MAY have some properties that mess with the estrogen in our bodies....by all means have your soy, but don't have soy for every meal, everyday

We have HUGE selections of soy everything lol next time i hit the grocery i will check out the varieties, as ibs products, i am unaware of anything specifically made just for that but i have found some products that are compatible with the diets we should be following.

almond breeze is almond milk, it has a slight vanilla flavor added to it, but it is unsweetened, it is still very delicious though and it only has 40 calories per cup

Yes they have strawberry and grape jelly as well. If you are looking to avoid artificial anything your best bet is to buy organic. That is the only things I buy in my house, well for me anyway lol i try and try but my husband loves his rice o roni LOL I can tell you a bunch of things i love that are organic, but before i do i will have to check if they are compatible with Heather's guidelines.. If you ever need help or are confused about an additive don't hesitate to email me....I am a certified natural nutrition specialist and have read just about every book on the topic! My email is rebecca.zukowski@hotmail.com...im gonna see if i can figure out myspace and take a look at your yummy recipes....i love recipes

Amazon.com has a large selection of natural/organic foods. For many products they have a "Subscribe and Save" option where you can have stuff sent to you on a schedule with a 15% discount and free shipping. I get my rice milk, Zone bars, natural PB and several other items from them.

Black bananas are just overripe bananas...get some yellow ones store them in the fridge for about 3 days and viola!!
You may be ok with nana's cookies (they have a lowfat orange cranberry cookie)...i get pamela's products brownies and make them with egg whites and applesauce they are yummy they also have a variation on the bag to make a choco cake out of the mix. I chew sugar free gum....and I chew about 7 pieces a day and it doesn't bother me, but it may you so I am sorry I have no recommendation for gum. Cascadian farms makes a good jelly (organic), see if you can order the almond breeze online.
