I just got through reading Heathers great book 'Eating for IBS' and I saw some great fish recipes. I am however a vegetarian, and dont eat any meat, chicken or fish. I was hoping someone could suggest a good substitute for the fish, something that will be nutritionally adequate. I was thinking of tofu, but I wasnt sure if that was equal in nutritional value.

Thank you

Hi, Mouse7r -
Welcome to the Boards!

One substitution for meat that's been mentioned is Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP). You might do a search across the forums and see how it's discussed.

TVP is a good substitution, and yes, tofu is as well.
