Does anyone have nausea from the tummy fiber? I get pretty bad nausea at night which usually wakes me up. I gave up the tummy fiber for a few days to see if that was the cause and sure enough it was. My stomach really needs the tunny fiber so I must continue to take it but again am experiencing the nausea at night after I started taking it again. any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!

How much fiber have you been trying?
-------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Some individuals react differently to different soluble fiber supplements. Some I can tolerate others I cannot. You might try a different soluble fiber supplement such as Benefiber.

Soluble fiber supplements are fermented by bacteria in the colon. The type and mixture of colonic bacteria may vary quite a bit from person to person resulting in different soluble fiber supplements being fermented differently by different people. You might try a different soluble fiber supplement to see if gives you less problems.
