I don't, in the normal course of my IBS, but there could be different issues with different people.

Do you get nauseous a lot? If it's only the last three days or so it MAY be a stomach bug... a few of my friends here in New York have caught it and it apparently takes a few days to run its course (of course, it may be different there across the pond).

Also, are you taking any new medications that may be causing this?

Nausea is not particularly common with IBS. For a while a few years ago I had a bit of nausea within an hour or two of eating high bran cereal. Once I cut high bran cereal out of my diet it went away. Out of curiosity what time of day are you experiencing nausea?

There are times when I feel nausiated. It feels like either I need to puke or have a bm. Once I do go to the bathroom my nausious feeling goes away. I always thought that was strange to.I just get it every once in a while though.

Yes, I get nauseous very often. I don't know if it's because of all the medicines I'm on or from the IBS, but it usually happens in the mornings after breakfast and at night after dinner. (I'm not pregnant though) It also happens when I haven't eaten anything in over two or three hours. Maybe linked to some low blood sugar or something. It takes a little while for it to go away, it's more like queasiness. I don't ever vomit, sometimes I have a BM when I'm queasy like that.

I am occasionally nauseaus, generally at night after I have eaten. My gi doc says that some patients with IBS do experience this.
I also get carsick now, when I never did before. Funny thing is that I never actually vomit, I just feel like I need to.

I experience nausea too with IBS. Never vomit. I keep Ginger Altoids in my purse and they help, also ginger tea. I usually feel better after a BM.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
