Has anyone found slippery elm helpful for intestinal pain and gas? Also if in capsule form, can it be opened up and sprinkled on food. It's kinda of bitter. Would love to hear back about this. THank you

How much did you take to control the D? Did you have to continue taking it or did you stop after the constant D stopped?
Thanks for sharing your experience.

I have IBS-D and if this worked for that I would love to try it. Where can you get this at? Did it help with the urgency or just the D?

Thanks for replying! I am going to have to give it a try. I do follow the EFI diet but still have D most mornings. At this point I am willing to try just about anything.

You can buy it likely at any drugstore thst csrries herbals.Or try a health store.
It helped stop the constant d.I think the urgency just goes away with the d.Everyon eis different so I don't know what your results will be but after gallbladder surgery, I had constant D .LIKE ALL DAY!!! This really helped to stop it.

Good luck for you guys.

Thanks! I went to the health food store & bought some today. They said that it is not known to interfere with any meds so I'm gonna give it a try. Cross your fingers that it works.
