I've been eating Rudi's organic sourdough, but can't find it in Wal-mart or Kroger. Can anybody eat bread from Wal-mart or a local grocery7

I live in Australia, so I doubt you have the same brands, however we have a brand here called Helgas. They make a really nice preservative free white sourdough bread that I love.

I get an Italian style loaf called Italian Peasant Bread from a brand called New French Bakery. It is at most groceries in this state. I have the bakery slice it for me. It is one of those not totally baked kind but we always toast our bread anyway. If the Italian Peasant is all gone I get a square sourdough loaf or the other Italian style loaf called Pugliese and have it sliced. I like these peasant breads because they aren't totally white, but are SF enough to be safe.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

I get Boulangerie bread at Winco, also Seattle's Best and Franz makes some mini bagels I really like. Those are probably northwest brands, but you might look for Sara Lee, too. Our Fred Meyer aka Kroger has the Sara Lee. (None of these are organic and probably not made fresh daily but I really like the Boulangerie sourdough bread and Franz mini-bagels.)

I eat Village Hearth Lite Italian or D'Italiano Lite on a regular basis. Neither has ever bothered me. Kroger Lite Italian or white also works for me, but the pieces are smaller.
