well 2 weeks in again on this diet after stopping the diet from my GI doctor i have been ok still bloated and having to use a suppositories to go the loo but yesterday i bought powder linseed's and i had 10g on my oats before bed and i had to use a suppositories am time i had a hard belly and was bloated still am but i have the biggest BM am time i felt free and sooooooooooooooooooooo happy

I'm so happy for you! The key is balance, Julie. I'm still struggling with this myself and so am probably not the best person to give advice here. But if you eat all (or mostly) SF, you're going to be super constipated and bloated. If you eat all (or mostly) IF, you're going to be gassy and have trapped wind, which will make you bloated. We each have to find our own balance of SF and IF so we're having regular BMs but not having too much gas or pain.
So have you reintroduced wheat into your diet?
