When I went to Mexico I ate at the hotel where I was staying- which was very nice. I never drank their water, even to brush my teeth. I bought bottled water. At their restaurant I ordered and ate only the fish. They also had chicken. They have lots of fresh mango. I don't know about rice krispies and goat's skimmed milk, but if you are staying in a good hotel they can help you find what you need. If you are not going to a major city, I don't know if they will have what you need.

It can be difficult traveling with IBS especially if you have not figured out how to get your IBS under control. At this point it probably isn't wise for to travel. I would wait until you figure out how to you get your IBS under control before you traveling to Mexico. At least wait until after you have had a few appointments with Dr. Whorwell.

By the way - mangoes are high in fructose.

Good luck

I would definitely try to get stable before considering a trip to Mexico. If you are stable and feeling well you will know exactly what you can and can't eat. Right now you are still trying to figure that out and some of it is by trial and error. Not easy to do when you are away from home or traveling.

Good luck!
