lactose/fructose intolerance

I have followed this site for a long time but never joined. I was diagnosed 5 years ago,but recently have put myself on a low fructose diet. It has really helped my symptoms,but my diet is very limited. Does anyone have recipes for someone like me with ibs and lactose/fructose intolerance?

I am lactose/fructose intolerant. All of the EFI recipes are dairy free. You can handle fructose by substituting low fructose fruits for high fructose fruits used in the recipes and sugar for honey. Here is a message I posted some time ago that gives general guidelines about which foods to use and which to stay away from. It also has links to some other information including a detailed article on managing fructose malabsorption and IBS.

Its funny how we're all in the same boat. I'm lactose intolerant, and I think fructose intolerant.

I didn't know for sure about the fructose until I cut it out of my diet. Has made a big difference! Now I just have to figure out what I can eat.
