Hi! I am moving to an apartment which has no oven. Any ideas what I can use to make the breads in Heather's book?? Someone said a toaster oven might work, how about a bread machine? Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks

I LOVE my bread machine! Making bread is a LOT of fun -- just ask Mags!

No oven, eh? -- how are you gonna roast chicken? Do you have a microwave? Chicken comes out great in the microwave. And there are recipes out there for breads that can be microwaved -- I remember I took classes a long time ago when they first came out with microwave ovens.

They had classes on microwave cooking? That's hilarious! LOL You know, though, it's not a bad idea for college students......I had to make pasta in my microwave oven quite often! LOL

I know! Can you believe it? CLASSES in microwave cooking! I love classes -- I'll take classes in underwater basketweaving if they offer 'em!

It wouldn't hurt for you invest in a Toaster Oven. A friend of the family sent us $50.00 for Christmas and I bought a very nice Toaster Oven for $50.00 at Walmart.

I can toast bread, bake, cook, broil and rotisserie. We had an awesome rotisserie whole chicken for Christmas dinner.

A bread machine is also a great investment. I love my machine and I always know my bake bread is IBS safe.

You can make the bread in a toaster oven. Make sure you buy one that can bake goodies.

You probably could. My machine has a batter bread setting for those type of breads, but I've never used it. If I get a chance to try it out for you, I'll let you know.

When mine uses the batter setting it won't bake it though -- it just mixes it. So -- you would still need somewhere to bake it. That may vary by model though.

I just double-checked my instructions. I have a Breadman. The instructions say "The Breadman will mix all of the ingredients and bake a cake-like bread." So, it does it all.
