first i want to thank you for all your help i no i need lots and to deal with my emotions Q1 am going to see a GI doctor in whyamsure tomorrow not doctor whore well but a part of hes team what shall i ask am getting so ill with this ibs consaption and trapped gas i get frighten around doctors what shall i ask
Q2 and also syl mentioned in a post that benefiber was safe fiber supplement but it contains wheat i thought we were meant to stay away form wheat thank you for all help

It's always a good idea to bring someone with you when you visit a doctor and are "uncomfortable". This other person can ask the questions and listen to the answers, and that should make it easier for you.
It might be a good idea if you started to write down all your symptoms and all the questions you want to ask. By the time you see your doctor tomorrow the list should be done.

Q1 - If you are seeing a member of Dr. Whorwell's team then you should be in good hands. His team is unique in the world and concentrates on IBS. The most important thing is to be as honest and forthcoming with your IBS and general health problems as possible. You must also tell him about your eating disorder too. I suspect the GI doc will have lots of questions for you too.
Q2 - Benefiber is derived from wheat it is not wheat. Just like sugar can be derived from sugar beets it does not mean that it contains beets. Benefiber does not contain wheat. Wheat product are okay to eat in moderation. They contain SF so they are healthy.
Please post a message telling us how you appoint with the GI doctor goes tomorrow.
