I've been expanding my diet and and I'm having trouble, and I'm trying to identify what's causing it. Anyone know if any of these foods are problematic?

Bittersweet Chocolate chips
Sorghum
Nutritional Yeast

I made some blondies with chocolate chips and sorghum last night, and they seemed to cause me trouble (could have something to do with the amount I ate). I'm well aware of the IBS rules, so everything else about the recipe I know is fine for me.

Also, I'm vegan, and I've discovered the joy of nutritional yeast, but I feel it's problematic in large quantities due to the large amount of vitamins it's fortified with. I'd like to eat two tablespoons at a time, but that means I'm getting 400-500 % at once of a few of the B vitamins.

Any thoughts?

Congrats on being vegan! I am also. I have had two out of the three, but I have not had the nutritional yeast, so I can't answer to that. The other two give me no problems at all.

Not sure about the yeast, but I eat vegan, gluten free cookies by Enjoy Life that are made with sorghum flour and have no problems with them. The choc chip ones and the snickerdoodles, zapped in the microwave, are best.
