Perhaps you could show your brother this site and the recipe index. Ask them to make you something from there. Show them the posts on this site as well. They need to understand that certain foods are just out of bounds for you right now. I find the biggest prablem people have with the IBS diet is how you have to avoid supposedly healthy food like dairy and whole wheat.
