i have just been to my brothers house and because of my past i was under pressure they have just made me eat pasta and turkey bolognese i never eat stuff like that but i have to show them i could do it will me tummy be ok it was bolognese sauce and pasta and turkey mushrooms and onions am so scared

Hi

Hope your feeling OK after your meal.

Perhaps you could show your brother this site and the recipe index. Ask them to make you something from there. Show them the posts on this site as well.

They need to understand that certain foods are just out of bounds for you right now.

I find the biggest prablem people have with the IBS diet is how you have to avoid supposedly healthy food like dairy and whole wheat. They simpley do realize that despite a foods nutrious qualities if it messes with your IBS it messes with your IBS.

Hi ju - i normally find the dolmio extra light bolognaise sauce is ok if i add a little bit to my turkey mince - i cook everyones and then put some turkey aside for me so i can jsut put a little sauce on the top - witheveryone elses i mix it in like u would normally - hope this helps !
