I'm 24 myself...and on social occasions it's good to partake.
I have noticed LI Iced Teas..rum...do not sit well.
What I would like to know...is there anything else besides
1) Vodka and Cranbury
2) Gin and Ginger?
What about
1) Jack Daniels?
2) Tequilla?
3) Triple Sec?
4) Absolute
We should make a list of generally good alcohol brands and drink mixes.
5) Smirnoff?

I am able to drink 1-4 beers now and then. I drink Bud Light but it's best if I eat something with solible fibre before drinking and whenever I switch brands it upsets my belly the next day.

I'm also 24. I find that its more how much I have then what I have. If I have one glass of wine I'm fine, two I'm okay but I will have to go to the bathroom the next day it probably won't be great. If I have more...it's worse etc. The same thing goes with beer. I stay away from hard alcohol as much as possible but the last time I had it I got pretty sick, I don't think it was necessarily IBS related though and again it was a question of how much, not what I had I think. Believe me I know how annoying it can be to give up alcohol entirely...particulary when you are young. Thank goodness I didn't have this yet in college!
