I'm feeling great till after dinner??

Hi all, I'm new to this and I'm very happy to finally find a solution to my IBS-C with GERD. My problem is that I'm great all day till after dinner when I get acid indigestion. Does anyone have that problem??? I was thinking maybe its a bigger meal and thats the problem??

When I eat an "average" meal, I have horrible bloating...feel like I could explode... and sometimes even palpitations. And, yes, I also have GERD. I try not to take my Nexium unless I have to, but on those occasions or if I eat too much sugar, fat or tomato - it's a must!
So, you sound pretty much like the rest of us who suffer with GERD... Sorry!

Whew! GERD is pure he//!!
I take Zegerid every night before dinner and it really helps!! Although I used to take OTC Prilosec and it worked for me for several years. Maybe you should try that. I couldn't live without my PPI!! My doctor always tells me that it's better to take an antacid than to risk getting esphageal cancer from your stomach acid eating away at your poor little esophagus!
So...do your poor little esophagus a favor, and take some Prilosec, girlfriend!!
