I could use help from a more experienced IBS sufferer. I use 2 tbsp fiber am and pm with acidophilles pills at night. I use both fennel and peppermint teas daily. I am still experiencing what feels like the verge of a IBS-D attack - increased bloating espeically towards latter half of the day. Mornings are still rough with lower ab pain after bowel movement. Can feel constipated but BM are regular - maybe its gas. Changed diet to avoid most trigger foods - still eat lunchmeats. I have even tried the peppermint pills - confused on when best to take them since it seems like food is always in my stomach, and I am not sure it can be taken with fiber, and when I should take my vitamins. I just need help managing my symtpoms better, as I feel lost. Pepto works well for me, so I am still relying on it when it really feels like IBS-D is on is way. Last flare up was 2wks ago. Sometimes foods agree and sometimes foods don't agree (ex: pizza). Can anyone help me sort out what to take and when? Thanks in advance!!!

I find that if I overeat at one time my symptoms get worse(bloating especially which is a big problem for me also constipation)If I eat smaller amounts it is better. I take the Fiber every day (1 TBS) in am. I am not too good about the fennel tea until I have problems like now, so starting it again. I have been following Heathers program for 2 years and it has helped me tremendously. I don't have the stmach pain I used to have unless I stuff myself.

Good luck, sometimes it takes a while for everything to come together..

Thanks for the encouragement. I've only been trying this approach for a few months. I just need to be patient - not so worriesome, which probably caused my IBS to wosen. Thanks!
