I've been trying to stick w/ bland soluble fibers, root veggies etc (I'm a vegetarian) and have started with the Tummy FIber, but I still don't have relief! I'm up to about 8 grams a day so far- guess I need more. Any advice? I feel soo hungry!
Thank you

Hey there! I'm not TOO far behind you (almost 23 weeks)... I don't have D, but when I get those awful cramps from gas and bloating, I take dicylomine, which is an anti-spasmodic, and perfectly safe to take during pregnancy. Might ask your primary care doc about it. It can be a little constipating, so that might help you as well, and it should really help with those spasms and pain. Load up on breads and cereals! And yes, you probably need a much higher dose of the acacia; I take 3 tablespoons per day, and I can't remember how many grams that is. Check the "Pregnancy and IBS" message at the top of this board; there may be some OTC meds that are safe to take for D, but I can't remember.

Good luck!
